"Women's empowerment" and "equality between men and women" are universal issues. The term "women empowerment" refers to the encouragement, inspiration, and celebration of women. It's also used to recognize the achievements of women and girls in terms of gender equality, financial independence, and self-confidence.

Women empowerment indicates addressing women’s power to create them proficient in taking decisions for themselves. Women have undergone a lot over the years in this men-dominating world. In more primitive centuries, they were criticized as almost non-existent human beings. As if whole rights belonged to men even the basic right such as voting. As time unfolded, women understood their power. Since then, the revolution for women’s empowerment started in this world.

“Feminism isn’t about making women strong. Women are already strong. It’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.” This quote means a lot. It makes people realize how low and weak society sees women, they are basing everything on their physical strength. As mentioned, women empowerment is about giving women the freedom and acknowledgment they deserve. Motherhood in fact is very empowering. As mothers, they bring forth life into this world. They raise children who will become the next decision-makers, entrepreneurs, workers, volunteers, people whose turn it is to proactively take steps in being responsible stewards of the earth. A mother has people whose lives depend on her, empowerment comes as a matter of course, a natural consequence if she is one who takes her responsibilities seriously. A mother who made a conscious decision to take on the seemingly stifling obligation of raising her child the best way possible is showing the world that her choice is a choice of a free empowered woman. With all of these mentioned, I can say that my mother is an empowered woman. She raised my siblings alone for years while working as a teacher. She supported us in everything, financially emotionally, etc. She was capable of deciding for herself and for us and pursued higher education.

A lot of possibilities were denied to women, and they missed out on a lot of things that may have improved their lives. They do, however, deserve equal opportunity in school, careers, society, and so much more.

Women's empowerment is a critical responsibility that every one of us should engage in. This is because empowering women also empowers the entire community and future generations. There are numerous ways to empower girls and women, and the burden does not fall primarily on the government, but rather on everyone in society.

Happiness Over Crisis

Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who most people believe is the son of God. Christmas is one of the longest holidays that we Filipino's are celebrating every year.  One cannot deny that this holiday feels warm and joyful when it comes to celebrating it with their family members, close friends, or simply their loved ones. Family traditions bond us closer together; they help every single member feel a sense of belonging; they create joyful memories that will last a lifetime and they give us something to look forward to.        Christmas is just around the corner but at the same time, events and holidays are different as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. For many of us, the holiday season is a much-anticipated time to rest, savor family meals and enjoy each other’s company. In past years, holiday travel has been as simple as jumping in the car or boarding a plane. Due to the strict health protocols, we could not do things like before nor celebrate

Myself for the Past Months

Myself for the Past Months         This first quarter in Grade 10 was fairly simple. I learned to manage my time properly and interact with other people. Our class did many activities, some include us doing yoga. Another activity that we did was painting. Even though I miss my classmates and genuinely want to meet our teachers, I somehow enjoy home learning. At the beginning of the school year, I was a little shy in our google meets but now that we did some activities, I feel looser to express what I feel and have to say.      The problems I encountered during this quarter is not really about the difficulty of the modules or the lack of internet, my problem is myself. At times, I always tend to zone out when working and waste the time that is designated for my modules. At night, I sometimes suffer insomnia because I often overthink about things. I addressed these problems by communicating with my parents about my behaviour and helped myself by cooperating with them. These past
